This is a really tough question to answer as there is no one size fits all. Most of our couples begin the process with no idea what kind of investment they can expect to make on their florals. An average couple will spend about 10-15% of their total wedding budget on fresh florals. This will vary based on how important florals are to you. Some research is really needed before we sit down and discuss your dreams. One great resource for this research is your planner. An experienced wedding planner will be able to set realistic expectations based on your vision, and help walk through the process with you. If you don't have a planner, don't worry.
Here are some ranges of specific items for your bridal party to help give you an idea:
Bride's Bouquets: $225-$400 (average around $275)
Bridesmaid's Bouquet: $75-$150
Corsages: $35-$50
Boutonnieres:$15-$25
Centerpieces are likely where a good portion of your budget will be spent. There are many options and most of our couples will choose a mix of styles. This helps with the investment, and adds interest to the room. Centerpieces vary greatly in cost based on size, style, and what types of flowers and containers are used. Some basic ranges are:
Simple candles with a touch of greens: starting at $45
Low floral arrangement: $75 - $150+
Elevated arrangement: $275 - $500+
Ceremony and reception floral decor is completely unique. Every wedding will require custom planning based on design, mechanics of installation, location logistics, product availability, and venue regulations. We love a challenge and welcome unique requests, and couples who want to be blown away by our fresh ideas.
We do have a reasonable minimum investment of $3000 for full service wedding florals requiring delivery and set up.
The first step is to fill out the contact form on our website. If we are available for your date we will send you our client intake form. This has all the questions about what floral items you want for your wedding. It also serves as a guide for the types of florals you may want to consider. Upon receipt of your completed intake form we will contact you to set up a consultation by phone, zoom, or in person. This is where we get into all the details. After your consultation we will send you a proposal through email. Love it? We're thrilled! To book we require a non-refundable 25% retainer and a signed contract. We book on a first come first served basis, and do not hold dates until the retainer and contract are in.
We are happy to re-set items from your ceremony into your reception during the cocktail hour if you wish. Please be mindful that we do have to charge for the time our crew is waiting for the right moment to swoop in and make the switch.
The short answer is: all over the world! We have an extensive network of wholesalers both local and international who provide the top quality flowers found on Earth. Some of our flowers are grown right here in Dallas, but most come from places such as South America, Holland, New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, Africa, California, British Columbia, and other states in the great USA. It is our job to know which suppliers (including individual farms) provide the best blooms in each season. Once our flowers arrive they are lovingly welcomed. Each stem is individually hand processed using proper procedures including stripping of leaves and thorns, application of professional hydrating solutions and flower food, correct water temperatures and storage vessels, and optimal air temperatures for blooming. Over the next few days each stem is closely observed to ensure they are at their full potential when they are designed into arrangements, and then stored in our floral cooler to ensure your wedding florals are at their best.
